In the beginning, veteran singer-songwriter, Klender didn’t start out to create a 5-album set of his original story songs… it just so happened that the last 24 months has been the most prolific time of his life.

Klender had a lot to write about on a number of diverse themes: Stories, Passion/Love, Anthems, Wine and Worship. Simultaneously, he was producing and recording a lot of modern country cuts with a number of talented collaborators and so the songs began to stack up as he produced them in his new Paso Robles barn studio in CA wine country.

He adds, “I live on my small Cabernet vineyard and had the property, so not too long ago I built me a large barn that doubles as a wine room and recording studio. Wine and music go so great together;… so why not…our juices were cooking.”

Klender had so many potential singles coming out of his heart and the heads of his trusty cohorts that he decided to just embrace his new Farewell Box Set of 35 songs. These 5 albums represent the 5-star points of his life. By the time he had come up for air he had created and produced a total of over 75 songs, including a Revelation Rock Opera, that Songtracker Entertainment released a few months ago.

One of these new projects is appropriately titled Passion. He adds, “There’s a price to pay for the passions in our life… it often takes considerable sacrifice to accomplish or enjoy something you truly love which often leaves its own set of emotional scars.”

Klender has always enjoyed writing anthems for various causes. He penned and produced the mega-top 40 hit “Dear Mr. Jesus” some years ago and continues to write and produce songs for various causes close to his heart, which are part of his new Anthem album.

The range of Klender’s creativity and his edgy soulful voice bring a diversity of song and story to this mega-project. He adds, “I just want to leave it all on the field this time out… I have no plans to release any more albums, so I’m just going for, after so many years in the industry. I’m simply grateful to still be doing it.”
