Party in a Bottle

This is a party song about life around the vineyard and that wonderful time of year right after Harvest, when the work load finally starts to settle down a bit. It gives us farmers a chance to party and relax a little bit. It's a time we look forward to where we can enjoy the fruits of our labor and spend more leisure time with those we love.

We love the opportunity to barbecue a big picnic and head on down to the vineyard (after the grapes are all picked; and the wine is barreled) and enjoy a bottle of our own Estate Cabernet. Whether we enjoy jumbo sandwiches or a great barbecued tri-tip, it all tastes good with our wine and becomes an annual celebration once our new wine is in its barrels.

Behind the Music

We wrote this song for the vineyard but it came out as a lot more fun than we expected so we put it on both albums. (Stories & Cabernet). The music video was extremely fun to work on... we had some great family friends help us out at the vineyard. We hooked up the old flatbed to the truck and pulled them around the property, while they enjoyed our wine all day, during the video shoot. It was probably a small miracle that we got through the entire shoot with everyone still smiling and in tact. Check out the fun video...

Behind the Video

Making this video was a blast. It took a little planning but we had some younger couples come up and enjoy our wine. We gave them a beautiful day on the vineyard and an all-day wine tasting with food, and in turn we got to film them enjoying life and having fun. I think it was a good trade-off and they all look great on video. They were so helpful and willing to shoot all around the vineyard, it gave us a lot of beautiful shots and story lines that we could share with you. Our video guru, Bob Cusick directed the multi-camera shoot which we filmed in 4K Ultra HD for a high quality look around the vineyard and around our barn. It was a special memory and we really appreciate Ryan, Christina, Jon and Summer for letting us wear them out with wine and multiple setups.
