Every Broken Heart

Every broken heart, makes you stronger… isn’t that the truth… haven’t you been there and haven’t you felt that specific hurt that strengthened your future? This is a rock anthem that reverts to the core of the human condition…

“Pick up those shattered shards and mend again”… yes, pick yourself up and get it going again. That’s the Price of passion… it’s all how we recover from those hurts that hit us that make life worth overcoming…

Every Broken Heart

We tore down walls, to build a door, before
Now we hold our weapons close, so silently we fight this war
Love stops without you, life loses its way
A storm is forever raging, still some lovers say

Every broken heart makes you stronger
Every lonely road has its end

I never dreamed, you’d up and go, now I know
But roses wilt, and they get cast out on the snow
Deep waters flowing, such pain, lies will deceive
Time, get my engines going, help me believe

Every broken heart makes you stronger
Every lonely road has its end
Every broken heart makes you stronger
Pick up the shattered shards and mend again

Innocence falling, hard crash, in the cold
Ten thousand pieces calling, story be told

Every broken heart makes you stronger
Every lonely road has its end
Every broken heart makes you stronger
Pick up the shattered shards and mend again
repeat…

Behind the Music

I love this anthem… We got together and wrote this song specifically for Bonnie Tyler… hey, we’re very thankful she cut one of our songs on her new album, but I’m still not sure if she heard this or how close she actually listened to this song… ...but she definitely should have cut this song… and it would have been a mega-hit for Bonnie. She’s an awesome rock singer, and it’s right down her alley and she would tear this Anthem up with that edgy voice of hers! Anyway, I digress… so I’m recording it for her…hopefully she’ll hear it on radio someday soon, and wish she’d cut it herself. Life and rock and roll are funny animals aren’t they? Ya just never know...
